The daily heat of the day, along with a moist flow of air have been mixing in southwest Montana taking showers just to the south of Billings so far tonight. The stream of moisture is close enough to produce a few showers.

Most of the showers we had today are sliding into North Dakota So we expect cool temps tonight and rain drying up A new batch of rain moves in tomorrow and the next few days.

A Short wave disturbance is creating a few sprinkles for South Central Montana tonight, but a new High Pressure cell builds in tomorrow.

The short wave storm system that caused us showers today continues to exit the region. We could see a few more showers tonight before the system exits. Drier air builds in tomorrow.

It is a weak wave of moisture pushing through Wyoming tonight that has caused the some instability in the air and convection showers in the region. We still have a good chance of rain tonight as temps cool down to 50 degrees. It should be Cloudy breezy and rainy tomorrow. The High only 63. Saturday will be sunny and 65, 75 on Sunday. Bob

AREA OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING NORTHEAST INTO THE
BILLINGS AREA. THROUGH 430 PM...THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE AN
OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKE AND GUSTY WINDS...BUT MOSTLY LIGHT
RAINFALL. WINDS COULD GUST UP TO 50 MPH AT TIMES.
