Man killed in Bozeman crash

BOZEMAN - One person is dead after a one-vehicle crash along Durston Road overnight.

The crash was called in around 4 a.m. Friday morning. According to Montana Highway Patrol, the driver of the pickup truck failed to negotiate a curve on Durston Road, traveling west, and crashed head-on into a cottonwood tree. The speed limit in the area is 25 miles per hour and speed is thought to be a factor.

A man between the ages of 20 and 30 was declared dead at the scene, according to MHP. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
